RunFit Essex, established in 2014 by Jana and Richard, is an exciting addition to health and fitness. We share the same passion for sport as a healthy way of life and have joined forces to deliver a variety of training sessions to support all your fitness goals. We are UK Athletics Qualified Running Coaches with over 30 years of running experience between us.

One of the best ways to enjoy running is with a group making new friends in the process. Running with other people is a great motivator for both new and experienced runners! Your first steps into a new fitness regime can be the most difficult and sometimes daunting, but with our positive approach and encouragement we will help you overcome this barrier in no time.

 

With years of running, our aim is to share our experience with you and make sure you enjoy running as much as we do. Regardless if you are a complete beginner or run regularly, you will benefit from one of our group sessions. We aim to design fun, varied and social sessions that any runner of any ability can turn up to and feel right at home and enjoy.

 

We also offer bespoke 1-2-1 coaching, small group sessions, junior sessions, training plans and corporate sessions.

Running Coach

Richard Nation

UKA Qualified

 

Richard has over 18 years running experience and took up running to improve his fitness for competitive sport.

 

Richard soon got the running and fitness bug and since 2012 Richard has made health and running fitness his full time profession and is passionate about trying to get the very best out of his athletes. His UKA qualifications enables him to bring a wide range of knowledge as well as experience to his clients. Richard has enjoyed competing in many races over the years including 5 London Marathons where he has proudly raised over £7000 for childrens charities.

 

Richard is working with athletes of all ages and fitness levels helping them achieve their goals and aspirations.

Run England & UK Athletics Running Coach Level 3 - UK Athletics / Endurance Level 3 - AthleFit Circuits Coach - Personal Trainer Level 3 - Diet and Nutrition Advisor Level 3, and Sports Psychology Level 3

 

Running Coach

Jana Wilkins

UKA Qualified

 

As a qualified and experienced Running Coach and Fitness Professional, Jana is working with individuals and groups as well as corporates to make sure goals are set and targets met.

 

After completing her first half marathon in Hong Kong about 15 years ago, running became a big part of her life and has been ever since. The Singapore Half Marathon, Stockholm Marathon as well as the London Marathon are just a few that has been added to the list since.

 

Jana is working with runners of all abilities, from complete beginners to experienced runners to support them achieve their best.

Running Leader

David Church

UKA Qualified

 

We are pleased to have David joining our RunFit Essex team.

 

David has always been physically active, enjoying a variety of sports including basketball, football, tennis and snooker. In June 2011 he decided to run his first race, a half marathon in his hometown of Southend-on-Sea. Since then, running has become an addiction.

 

His racing events range from 5km to marathons and include the 2011 Chicago Half Marathon. As a running leader David now wants to share his passion and inspire others to progress on their fitness journeys.
